Population Research West Australia supports Charles Smith’s decision to join the Western Australia Party (WAP), standing as their representative in the state’s upper house for the remaining election term.
Population Research will continue to provide research and develop policies for Charles and the WAP leading into the 2021 State election.
The upper house politician has been the only one in state parliament holding the McGowan labor Party to account for its irresponsible population growth and immigration policies.
Given the COVID-19 pandemic, Mr Smith said the time to look at protecting WA jobs and wages could not be more opportune.
Population Research has continued to point out that State migration policy does make a big difference to WA’s unemployment, housing affordability, traffic congestion and quality of life. We look forward to helping Mr. Smith continue his great work in State parliament.
